About me

I grew up in the early 80's, under the end of the communist era in Hungary. My generation was the first that had the possibility for a normal life and this new environment had a big part in encouraging my passion for arts.

At the age of 14, I learned to play instruments and a short while afterwards I established my first rock band. I remember listening to the most brilliant new wave bands with my friends and that we tried to play everything we were influenced by back then.

I had many friends who made art and I was inspired by their talent. There were no computers, no internet or too many TV channels so we were left with music and art performances. The most important thing was our imagination.

After having established and played in other bands, I started learning photography and then most recently drawing.

I have always been a big fan of comic books. I used to read classics from Marvel, as well as lots of other mainstream superhero and other available comics, but my favourites were always of the European line. As my interest towards comics grew, it ended up leading me to drawing myself.

In 2019, during the pandemic, I lost my job and that’s when I started drawing. As I encountered the work of more and more digital artists, the technic started to interest me, hence I bought an iPad and tried myself. My whole childhood and every little thing I came across in my life inspired me, helped to grow up for the challenge to use my skills and to be the self-taught artist I am today.

I have never believed in perfection, but instead, in learning and constantly transferring influences and knowledge into practice.
